CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
All women and girls of any age and condition may participate.
The texts must be about a real person WHO CANNOT BE THE AUTHOR HERSELF and who must be clearly distinguishable from the author, so the person to whom the text is dedicated must be named by her real name or, if this information is not available, by a pseudonym by which she is known or remembered or, if there is none, in a way that makes her identifiable, for example: the baker in my neighbourhood, Mrs. Feliu's daughter, the headmistress of my school, etc.
TEXTS OF AN AUTOBIOGRAPHIC CHARACTER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, even if they are written in the third person.
This is a project to value and recognise OTHER women in positive terms. It is NOT a platform for claiming, exposing or denouncing situations of inequality and injustice, negative experiences or personal traumas. We want to contribute to building and cementing a positive image of women.
Only texts that convey a positive message about the person or persons to whom they are dedicated, such as dedications, acknowledgements, biographies and memorials, in prose or verse, will be accepted.
Texts implying religious or political proselytism will not be accepted.
The maximum length of the texts is one side of Word, font size 12, double-spaced (approx. 360 words).
The style is free, as long as the above conditions are met.
Those who wish may attach a photograph or drawing representing the person to whom the text is dedicated.
Only the authors are responsible for their opinions.
The authors will sign their name and surname. Those who so wish may indicate their age and place of residence.
All texts will be revised before publication, although, for the time being, we can only undertake to make grammatical and spelling corrections in Spanish and, in the second instance, in Catalan and German. Linguists, translators or professional writers with French, English, Catalan or German as their mother tongue are welcome.
We reserve the right to translate texts, as well as the right not to publish texts that we consider offensive, inappropriate or that do not comply with the terms and conditions of the call for entries.
All texts received before 31 October 2021 will be part of the first print edition (provided we get the necessary funding).
